5. Since schemes are more then 10 years old and the water level is getting decreased in the tubewells , it has been observed that the condition of the tubewells is deteriorating day by day. Considering this situation, necessasry provisions have been made for the repair of existing tubewells, and in some locations, new tubewells have also been proposed.
2.2. Most of the schemes in district bijnor are more then 10 years old and In the earlier Gram Panchayat (GP) area, PVC pipes were used with a specified diameter. However, due to the recent extension of the GP area, additional piping is now required and as per the latest guidelines HDPE pipes are being used for extensions which is resulting in a rise in overall project cost.
