Specific reason for increasing cost
This scheme was initiated in the year 2009–10. It currently impacts a population of approximately 9,400 residents. The village is divided into two zones, each equipped with an overhead tank and a dedicated water distribution network. At present, the scheme is operating at only 50% efficiency, as both zones are largely non-functional. The primary issue lies in the existing 4 kg pipes within these zones, which are damaged and no longer operational.
