Specific reason for increasing cost
1. This scheme was made in 12th financial commission in 2012 in which only 15KM of pipeline was laid.
2. While Retrofitting work, OHT was constructed and 4KM of pipeline was laid 3 While by new survey it is required to be 54KM. Since, practically it is not feasible to supply water with existing OHT to farthest nodes, as a new zone is proposed in this scheme.
4.Since, homes are made on both side of the road and the road is wider than 7m. Therefore 4KM Pipeline is required to be laid on both side of the road.
5. Old pipeline was 4KG/sq.cm., while supplying the water to the farther nodes, it leads to many leakages.
6. New population has established their home in discrete manner.
