Specific reason for increasing cost
The original water supply scheme was constructed during the year 2008–09, based on the prevailing design standards and demand projections at that time.
During the initial phase of implementation, one tube well with a discharge capacity of 300 LPM was constructed. This source is now over 20 years old, and as per the current design assessment, it does not meet the present water demand of the village. The reduced yield and aging infrastructure have significantly impacted the reliability of the water supply.
In view of the above, a new tube well has been proposed in the current estimate to augment the source capacity, ensure consistent water availability, and support the upgraded distribution network. This intervention is essential to meet the increased demand, improve system efficiency, and e
