Specific reason for increasing cost
Existing Overhead Tank Condition:-
A 350 KL capacity Overhead Tank (OHT) with a staging height of 15 meters is located within the campus. Constructed during 2010–11, the structure is now 15 years old. Based on a conditional assessment conducted by Jal Nigam and the executing firm, the existing OHT has been visually declared failed. Multiple signs of structural distress have been observed, including visible cracks, exposed and rusted reinforcement, and deterioration at critical locations such as the brace beam, columns, and staircase. Additionally, major cracks and leakage have been noted in the container wall and bottom dome. Supporting documentation, including the site visit report and photographs, is attached for reference.
