Specific reason for increasing cost
1. The original scheme was constructed during the year 2013-14.
1.As per the recent assessment of on-site conditions, approximately 23.6 km of 4 kg/cm² PVC pipeline was originally laid during the initial implementation phase (2010–11) to provide piped water supply coverage to one village and 15 habitations under a stand post-based design. During retrofitting works in 2020–21, an additional 2.9 km of 6 kg/cm² PVC pipeline (with diameters ranging from 63 mm to 110 mm) was laid, including 2.9 km of 63 mm PVC pipeline to improve system performance. However, the overall network length remained limited due to the original design being focused on stand posts, without adequate provision for household-level distribution.
