Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Temajshripur Water Supply Scheme, Block Abhauli, water supply to Temajshripur, Gaura Z. Shripur, and Chakpuri villages, covering 109 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works.To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 5315 meters has been proposed, which includes:Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses..The additional works required for repairing damaged pipelines, providing new household connections, and constructing highway crossings have resulted in an increase in the overall project cost.
