Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Bhawri Water Supply Scheme, Block Suriyawan, water supply to Dhobi Basti and Chohar Basti, affecting 138 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works. To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 5315 meters has been proposed, which includes: Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses.Replacement and rehabilitation of portions of the pipeline that are choked. The additional work required for repairing damaged pipelines, accommodating new connections, and replacing choked sections has resulted in an increase in the overall project cost.
