Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Sayar Water Supply Scheme, Block Aurai, water supply to Sayar village and its habitations — Brahaman Basti, Harizan Basti, Lohar Basti, Mushar Basti, Pal Basti, Prajapati Basti, Thakur Basti, and Yadav Basti — covering 426 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works. The scheme is presently non-functional.To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 8,580 meters has been proposed, which includes:Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses.Rehabilitation of choked and non-functional pipeline sections.The additional works required for repairing damaged pipelines, providing new household connec
