Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Dasawatpur Water Supply Scheme, Block Abhauli, water supply to Dasawatpur village, covering 327 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works. The scheme is presently non-functional.To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 6,769 meters has been proposed, which includes:Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses.Rehabilitation of choked and non-functional pipeline sections.The additional works required for repairing damaged pipelines, providing new household connections, and replacing non-functional and choked sections have resulted in an increase in the overall project cost.
